Born Matthew Wilson Slater on September 9, 1985 in Orange, California, the football player is one of the two children of retired NFL star Jackie Slater and Annie Slater. Growing up was very nice for the boy as he got most of his football dreams from his father who was a guru in the game.
Using the lessons learned from his father, Matthew joined the Servite High School football team and surprised the squad with his notable athletic accomplishments on the field.
