BIOGRAPHY
Tom Bower is an American actor. Although he thought he would have a career as an athlete, that path did not work out, so his acting hobby seemed to be the next course of action. He immediately headed to New York City, following his graduation and a season of performances at the oldest summer theater in the United States, the Elitche Garden Summer Theater in Denver. At 17 he began classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After a year and a half at the Academy, he began studying at John Cassavetes’ Shadows Workshop, with whom he had his first job opportunity in the film Shadows (1957), today considered a classic of the seventh art. Since then he has appeared in a wide variety of television and film roles, such as Die Hard 2 (1990) and Enemigo Intern (2009). Bower appeared in The Light at the End of the World (2019), a film written, directed by, and starring Academy Award winner Casey Affleck.
