Biography (Age)

Pogba was born on March 15, 1993 in Lagny-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, Paul Labile Pogba, to Fassou Antoine and Yeo Moriba, immigrant parents from Guinea.

Around the age of 6, Pogba started playing football. He signed up for US Roissy-en-Brie where he played six seasons before moving to US Torcy. He was the best player in his new team where he was named captain. After an impressive first season, he joined professional club Le Harve. The skinny midfielder continued to impress the team’s young players, helping them finish second in the National Under-16 Championship.

In July 2009, after being closely watched by Manchester United, Paul Pogba decided to exchange his French club for the English giants. The news of his decision to leave the French side caused an uproar between all the clubs involved and a FIFA investigation into allegations that United stole the player. The player, however, completed his move and settled into his new club, impressing all the youth team coaches before being selected in the first team for an FA Cup fifth round tie in February 2011.

He made a few substitute appearances for the first team, but this did not satisfy him as he opted to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expired. International career

Barely 20, Paul Pogba made his international debut for France, having previously played for their various youth teams, the last of which as captain of the Under-20 side to a U-20 World Cup win. 20 of FIFA.
