Augustine Njoku, captain of Abia Warriors, has expressed the team’s high motivation ahead of the upcoming match against Doma United.
The Warriors are set to face the Savannah Tigers at the Umuahia Township Stadium in the upcoming matchday 18 fixture.
Njoku revealed that the technical department has addressed the areas for improvement highlighted from their previous defeat in Eket last week.
He also appealed for the fans’ support as they prepare for the upcoming game.
Speaking to Abia Warriors Media, Njoku stated, “The team’s morale is very positive as we approach the game against Doma United.”
He added, “The coaching staff has rectified the shortcomings identified from our recent match against Akwa United in Eket.”
Njoku emphasized the need for support, acknowledging the strength and determination of the opposition, saying, “We require the fans’ support for this game as Doma United is a formidable opponent.”
