Reports suggest that former Wolves and Real Madrid manager Julian Lopetegui has expressed interest in signing two Barcelona players if he takes over at Manchester United in the near future.
According to El Nacional, Lopetegui is keen on acquiring Ferran Torres and Alejandro Balde from Barcelona to strengthen the Man United squad.
He has laid down certain conditions for his potential move to the Red Devils, with the signing of both Torres and Balde being one of them.
The 57-year-old is open to the idea of replacing the current Man United manager, Erik ten Hag, who is facing pressure following a lackluster first half of the season.
Ten Hag’s team is currently positioned 8th in the Premier League table, and Man United has been eliminated from the Champions League this season.
