BIOGRAPHY
Of Cuban and Armenian origin, Edward Carl Cibrian got his start in advertising campaigns, including one for Coca Cola. His first appearance on television was in 1993 on the sets of Saved by the Bell , but it was with The Young and the Restless that he landed his first regular role.
After which he moved on to television programs, which allowed him to obtain his first main role, alongside David Hasselhoff , in Mitch Buchannon in 1996. Once the series ended, Cibrian joined the cast of Sunset Beach , by Aaron Spelling , to replace Ashley Hamilton as Cole Deschanel. Thanks to his character, he quickly became known as one of the sexiest actors on afternoon shows. With the end of the series in 1999, the actor bounced back by playing a central character in New York 911 for five seasons. He plays Jimmy Doherty, a firefighter married to paramedic Kim Zambrano, played by Kim Raver . Alongside his acting career, Eddie Cibrian is part of the boy band 3Deep, with Joshua Morrow , whom he met on the set of The Young and the Restless , and Canadian singer CJ Huyer. The group was active from 1998 to 2001 and released two albums, including Yes Yes Yes…No No No, their biggest success.
With the end of New York 911 in 2004 , Eddie Cibrian embarked on new projects, such as Invasion or Tilt , which all ended up being canceled very quickly. In 2006, when the series Vanished had its first role in the person of Gale Harold , his character was eliminated. He gives way to Eddie Cibrian who plays agent Daniel Lucas on screen. After only one season, Vanished was finally renewed. The same year, the actor experienced other difficulties, when he had to play one of the leading roles in the adaptation of the British series Football Wives .
