Imaan Mike Umoh, an award-winning Akwa Ibom MC, has revealed that the wedding he was supposed to host in Uyo next weekend has been called off due to allegations that the bride-to-be had engaged in a sexual relationship with her sugar daddy, who is said to be an immediate past Commissioner in the state.
Umoh shared the shocking news on Friday, June 9, 2023, stating: “NEXT WEEKEND WEDDING CALLED OFF. So the would be wife went to inform her sugar daddy who was to be the chairman, immediate past commissioner and they decided to tatatat but unfortunate she met her water low.”
According to Umoh, the groom overheard his fiancée having intimate relations with the sugar daddy while they were on a call. The groom attempted to end the call but inadvertently activated the phone’s fingerprint settings, allowing him to record the encounter.
Umoh provided details of the situation, expressing his disbelief at the bride’s actions and the subsequent fallout. He revealed that the bride returned home with a 1 million Naira cheque, which the groom accepted as part of the expenses incurred for the wedding. He emphasized that the groom, who is described as wealthy, had already spent over 3.6 million Naira on the wedding preparations.
Umoh concluded his account by expressing his sympathy for the groom and urging for prayers for the bride. He also requested for a large audience to attend the event in Uyo that had now been called off.
